MMR Single Vaccines

MMR Single Vaccine Image "It is every child's right to be protected against infectious diseases. No child should be denied immunisation without serious thought as to the consequences, both for the individual child and for the community."

At Clarion Health we believe that every parent should have the right to choose what they feel is best for their child. To this end, we offer a comprehensive Single Vaccination Programme as an alternative to the MMR, and we will encourage and help you to make an informed decision by providing you with sources of information on the options available to you.

Before we enrol you on the Programme, we offer a free, no-obligation telephone consultation on the suitability of the single vaccinations for your child. Your first visit to the clinic will include a consultation with one of our medical staff. The consultation will cover:

Subsequent appointments for administration of the rubella and mumps vaccines (when available) will be made, at which you and your child will be seen by one of our doctors or nurses.

We offer a well-informed, flexible and responsive service, with the emphasis on minimising any inconvenience and discomfort to you and your child.

Mumps Vaccine
Although we have an uninterrupted supply of measles and rubella vaccines, we were shocked to learn that Merck has decided not to resume production of their single mumps vaccine. There will be no further supplies of single mumps vaccines coming into the country for the forseeable future.

We believe that it is extremely important for children to have protection through immunisation and we fear that parents may choose NOT to immunise their children at all if they cannot obtain single vaccines. We will continue to offer immunisations for measles and rubella which are readily available from other reputable manufactures as we believe that parents should have a choice.

Clarion Health is pro-vaccination and is committed to protecting from the risks associated with Measles and the danger to an unborn child of Rubella.
